Wise Leads Municipalities Into the Future — and Into the Cloud
Icelandic municipalities are currently taking a major step in their digital transformation by moving their operations to the latest version of Wise Municipality Solutions, now available in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central cloud platform. Several municipalities have already made the transition and are now enjoying increased security, flexibility, and efficiency in their daily operations.

A Milestone for Municipal Digital Services
The latest version of Wise Municipality Solutions marks a turning point for digital services in Icelandic local government. The solution supports automation and lays the foundation for utilizing artificial intelligence. It combines the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP system with specialized modules tailored to the diverse needs of municipalities and their residents. These solutions support key municipal functions such as environmental planning, infrastructure, housing, public health, youth and sports services, as well as education and culture.
Now Available in Microsoft AppSource
Wise Municipality Solutions are now listed in Microsoft AppSource, the official marketplace for cloud-based applications. The solutions cover critical areas such as finance, budgeting, social services, utility and port management, property taxation, and business intelligence. Municipalities can also add digital services like wallet solutions, online application portals, and citizen self-service platforms — all of which can be integrated with other systems.
