Security and oversight in every task
AI that works in your books needs clear rules. They are built into Wise AI Automation and apply to every single task, whichever AI asks for it.
A preview before every posting
Before anything is posted you see exactly which entries will be created. The posting must match the preview, or it is refused.
Amount limits
You set a maximum per action and a 24-hour maximum for the company. Anything over the limits goes to approval automatically.
Approvals in Business Central
Approval requests go through the Business Central approval workflow to the right people. The AI never approves its own work.
Your people send money and filings
Payments never go to the bank, and filings never go to the tax authority, unless a person approves and sends them.
A permanent record of everything
Every action is recorded in Business Central: who asked for it, from which AI, what was previewed and who approved it. Entries in the log cannot be changed afterwards.
Each task posted once
Every task carries its own identifier. If the connection drops and the task is retried, it is not posted twice.
Your sign-in, your data
The AI works with the user's sign-in. The connector stores no passwords, access keys or accounting data.

Digital employees that take the initiative In testing
A digital employee starts when something happens in Business Central or at a set time. It does the work, records it and flags anything that needs approval.
An invoice is issued, an invoice is posted, or the clock strikes: daily, on weekdays or at month-end.
It re-reads the entry in Business Central and checks permissions, limits and stops before anything is done.
Whatever is within the limits is done straight away. The rest goes to the right person for approval.
Every run is recorded with its trigger, employee and result. An administrator can stop everything instantly.
Posts issued invoices
When a sales invoice is issued, the employee posts it, if the amount is within the limits.
Invoices wait in issued status until someone has time to post them.

Sends posted invoices
When an invoice is posted, the employee sends it to the customer, as Business Central is configured.
Posted invoices get forgotten and payments arrive later.
The invoice goes out immediately. You can see whether the delivery succeeded.
Watches overdue receivables
Daily, on weekdays or at month-end, the employee finds customers who need a reminder and prepares the reminders.
Collections slip when things get busy.
No receivable is overlooked. Issuing and sending follow your settings.
Reconciles control accounts with subledgers
At month-end, or more often if you like, the employee compares customer and vendor control accounts with their entries.
Reconciliation is done in a spreadsheet days after month-end, if time allows.
The result waits in Business Central: the difference, deviations and the entries that explain it. Nothing is corrected without you.
Reconciles inventory with control accounts
The employee compares inventory value with the general ledger inventory accounts and finds costs that have not yet been posted.
Inventory differences are found at closing, when they are hard to trace.
Deviations show up immediately, with explanations. The employee never posts anything itself.
Produces a cash flow forecast every week
Every week, or as often as you choose, the employee calculates cash flow for the coming weeks from the books: bank balance, receivables, payables, orders and VAT.
The cash flow forecast is put together in a spreadsheet when someone has time.
A new forecast waits in Business Central every week, with the lowest balance, assumptions and customer payment habits. You can also ask: “What does my cash flow look like on 1 November?”
Its own identity
Each employee has its own identity in Business Central. It never uses a staff member's account.
Within the owner's permissions
Each employee has an owner and can never do more than the owner may.
People handle money and taxes
A digital employee never sends payments to the bank and never files with the tax authority. A person always does that.

What is a digital employee?
An automated process that does a specific task in Business Central when something happens or at a set time, without anyone being signed in. It has its own identity, an owner who is responsible for it, and limits it never exceeds.
What permissions does a digital employee have?
Each digital employee works within its owner's permissions and only does the tasks it is given. In chat, the AI always works with the signed-in user's permissions.
What about payments and tax filings?
The AI can prepare payments and tax filings. Payments never go to the bank and filings never go to the tax authority unless a person approves and sends them.
How do we control digital employees?
An administrator chooses the tasks, the automation level and the limits in Business Central. They can stop one employee, one action or the whole company instantly, and the stop is recorded.
Where is the data stored?
In Business Central, as before. The connector run by Wise stores no accounting data or user access keys and does not log the content of requests.
How is the time saving calculated?
The calculator multiplies the number of tasks, the minutes per task and the share you believe an employee can take over. It is based on your own figures. We go through real numbers with you in a meeting.
What do I need?
Business Central in the cloud (version 29 or later), the Wise AI Automation extension and sign-in with a Microsoft account. For tasks in Wise solutions the relevant solution is required. Business Central on your own servers is not supported at present.
When is it available?
Wise AI Automation is in testing at Wise. We bring the first customers on board in collaboration with them. Book a meeting if you want to be involved from the start.
